My colleagues on the Republican side have been working so hardto do something about this Grapes of Wrath problem. Only one of them supported the farmtenancy portion of this bill yesterday. I hope we can do better on this part of the bill. Let us root those people to the ground where they are and then we will not worry about caring for them. for they will not come to us. We certainly can do this much. Otherwise why go to the trouble to appoint a special committee to investigate the migrant if we are not willing to do what we can with the facilities that are before us?
