God pity us that a sizeable number of our more intelligent citizens have gone over to this communistic program of destruction. In the parade of witnesses before the House Committee Investigating UnAmerican Activities. have been some of the most contemptible creatures our liberal naturalization laws allow to be called citizens. They have brazenly told the committee that they would refuse to fight for America and they have admitted being engaged in espionage work against the best interests of our country. For their testimony. in which they admitted committing perjury and other capital crimes. they have been loudly praised in many quarters.
