The House amendment to Senate bill 1384. as amended by the Senate. Is to strike out all after the enacting clause and insert: That the Secretary of Labor be. and is hereby. authorized and directed to record the permanent residence of Egon Karl Frleherr von Mauchenhelm and Margarete von Mauchenheim as of May 19. 1936. and that the order of deportation be canceled. and Egon Karl Freiherr von Mauchenheim and Margarete von Mauchenheim shall not again be subject to deportation proceedings for the reasons set forth in said warrant. and that by the terms of this act they shall not be permitted to become a naturalized citizen of the United States unless and until they shall leave the United States and reenter in a lawful way in full compliance with the existing law. Upon the enactment of this act the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quotacontrol officer to deduct two numbers from the preference category of the quota during the current year.
