The alien awaiting his citizenship in this country who has lived up to the laws and is a respected resident hates the criminal alien just as well as those of you who may possibly trace your ancestry back to the Mayflower. There is no doubt that the criminal alien as mentioned in this bill should be segregated from society. I know the selfrespecting alien awaiting his naturalization would appreciate that as well as you and I. but the. approach that we are taking in this bill is not the proper way to handle this problem. We are using the methods that resulted in the iron hand of dictatorship in Europe. God forbid that we should start concentration camps in this Nation.
