PARKS . The Senate proceeded to consider the bill to admit Mrs. Henry Francis Parks permanently to the United States. which had been reported from the Committee on Immigration with an amendment to strike out all after the enacting clause and insert: Be it enacted. etc.. That notwithstanding the provisions of section 13 (c) of the Immigration Act of 1924 (43 Stat. 153. U. S. C.. title 8. sec. 213c) relating to the exclusion from the United States of aliens ineligible to citizenship. Mrs. Henry Francis Parks shall * be granted an immigration visa and admitted into the United .States if she applies for such visa and admission within 6 months from the date of the enactment of this Act and is found to be otherwise admissible under the immigration laws.
