Thank you. Mr. Chairman and gentlemen. I am honored and privileged to testify from my experience on the problem of the economic system under which we live. This system has been good to me and mine. My father. a scientist. was an immigrant and a refugee from attacks on freedom in another country. to find himself fighting against what he regarded as oppression of the Confederacy in this country. My mothers people had been here since before the Revolution. They were both of a race and religion which have not always been granted liberty and equality of opportunity in other lands.
