He abolished the Federal Board for Vocational Education. the Federal Employment Stabilization Board. the Board of Indian Commissioners. and a number of other agencies. There was the consolidation of the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Bureau of Industrial Alcohol in the Treasury Department. There was the creation of the Division of Disbursement and of the Procurement Division in the Treasury Department. centralizing these activities.
