Speech #750164765

President. I often think about our country. and how we got to be settled. and I often think about a fine story that I heard. A gentleman told me that one day he was coming over from Europe. and he met a lady with her daughter. She was an immigrant. She said. "I am coming to America." He said. "Why are you coming to America?" She said. "I am coming to America because I do not want my daughter to be a housemaid." The gentleman said. "How is that?" She said. "I am a housemaid. My mother was a housemaid.
