Mr. President. this week I introduced a bill prohibiting marriages between members of the two races in the District of Columbia and all the possessions of the United States. The second thing is segregation of the Negro race in some chosen territory within the United Stated or on some islands of the sea. where none but the black man shall live. and. third. repatriation or the deportation of the entire Negro race to its native heath in Africa. This third solution. in my judgment. will be the most certain. permanent. feasible. and satisfactory solution of this great racial and national question. I believe that the wise and influential leaders of the Negro race will join wholeheartedly in this solution.
