I wish to take this opportunity to thank with my full heart. and from the very bottom thereof. my able colleague from Arizona for the very high compliment and tribute he has seen fit to pay me at this time. and I am very happy indeed to know that he is in thorough accord with the views I now express with regard to the Asiatic situation. My distinguished friend the Senator from Idaho a moment ago made mention of the fact that three oil tankers belonging to the Standard Oil Co. happened to be with the American gunboat at the time it was sunk. That brings on more complications.
