I do not. I totally disagree with Mr. Hopkins in his testimony to that effect. I think we are in a peculiar situation at this time. We have an increased number of unemployed at this time because of Increased population brought about by immigration between 1910 and 1917. We have gone through a period of depression and no newtype industry has been established in the last 7 years. We have had nothing of that sort in recent years. The Senator from New York has proposed a housing industry to take care of the situation and it may be he is correct.
