Mr. Chairman. this is the same demonstration we get every time an immigration bill is brought up--either a roll call. or the charge that we are going to do something wrong to this country. Every time they want us to do something for the poor immigrant who has not committed any crime. when we bring the matter up. it is wrong. and there is the cry for deportation. and when we bring that up then there Is the Cry that it is too strict. It is the same storythe old difference between tweedledum and tweedledee. You do not know where you are or where you stand.
