Mr. Chairman. I move to strike out the last two words. Mr. Chairman. I rise in opposition to all amendments to section 3. House Joint Resolution 361. While I am not in sympathy with the aliens who are in this country who refuse and do not intend to become American citizens. nevertheless I am deeply interested in a large group of men and women who have been in this country a long time and who have made every effort to become American citizens. but who. unfortunately. have been unable to qualify because of the educational requirements of our naturalization laws.
