It is true that she has four children. but they were born to her while in America. I believe this case and the case to follow are the real hardship cases that are before us. My only interest in this whole bill is the protection of that family and in not separating the mother from her family and sending her back to Germany. During the last several years a deportation warrant has been held over her head and I believe that she has been punished severely. I appeal to you men and women of the House this afternoon not to disrupt this family life. Do not take this woman from these four babies.
