These poor aliens are glad to get work at any price. and you know there are many profiteers who want cheap labor and take advantage of the situation. There are many unemployed in my town. Many of them are of Mexican descent. I want them to have the preference. So the issue is whether or not you endorse the principle. as a friend of labor in this country. that these men can come here and take the jobs of American citizens. whether they be native or naturalized. When you talk about recommitting the bill. that is the issue before you. Why not let this bill be passed?
