S.-The amended bill is bad for four fundamental reasons: (1) The bill would largely increase the number of aliens coming into the United States for permanent residence. and who could become citizens. over the numbers now coming into the United States. (2) The bill provides for a commission with power to set aside mandatory Immigration laws or the decisions of our courts. (3) It provides for legalizing illegal entries into the United States. and thus encourages aliens to break our immigration laws. thereby tending to make worse our already bad alien situation. (4) The bill fails to provide for registration. which alone will enable us to solve the criminal and unlawful alien problem in the United States.
