I object. There being no further objection. the Clerk read the bill. as follows: Be it enacted. etc.. That in the administration of the immigration laws. relating to the issuance of immigration visas for admission to the United States for permanent residence and relating to admissions at ports of entry of aliens as immigrants for permanent residence in the United States. that provision of section 3 of the Immigration Act of 1917 (39 Stat. 875). as amended.(U. S. C.. title 8. sec. 136 (e)). which excludes from admission into the United States "persons who have been convicted of or admit having. committed a felony or other crime or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude". shall not hereafter be held to apply to Rosalie Piar Sprecher. who is the wife of H.
