There is no reason in the world why Congress should depart and I be left behind to take the burden of doing this thingthis abominable thing. that should not be done. The responsibility is yours. gentlemen. and you have got to carry it. Now. as to the stayed cases. During a period of approximately 22 months. there have been stays of deportation in the cases of 2.355 aliens. That is an average of 107 cases a month. Now. that is a comparatively small number. and certainly not important. but. gentlemen.
