I have just discovered that this is a simple House resolution. It is an absolute shame to take the time of the House at this time in the session to pass a House resolution of this character. You may just as well bring a resolution here saying that the moon is made of green cheese as to pass this resolution at this time. It has no effect .in law. and simply puts the House on record as favoring asking the Commissioner of Immigration to dosomething that is against the law. I think it is unfair and absolutelya crime to bring such a resolution into the House at this time.
