I am aware of that. but we need more than that. We want to come back to this Congress prepared to recommend lhgislation that will properly protect the border. Money will riot do it. We must have either a reorganization of the border patrol or we must devise some means by which we can safely -say that w e have a border patrol. In the last numbe of years 24 of our men were killed in cold blood on that border. In the last few years every restrictionist who came before the committee stated that there was a group of smugglers along that border.
