We do not owe the Filipinos so much that we have to go over there and try to Americanize them. We will never be able to Americanize them. The whole world is disturbed. I think the Filipinos should swim along with the Asiatics. in other words. according to what is over there. The Lord gave them a better climate for some purposes and probably a worse climate for other purposes. We ought to turn them loose and do something about taking care of the sugar industry and the cotton industry that we have been endeavoring to build up in this country.
