They say they do not want to come to the United States. but you are making them citizens by this act. There is nothing that can keep you from letting them come to the United States if they want to. I say to the outgoing administration. to one of the officials. Mr. Doak. that he has done the best service for this Government that any man has ever done in the Cabinet since he has been there. in keeping our Government free from those who are not ready for citizenship in this country. We are ready now to pass a deportation bill for those opposed to our Government. and I think it will be necessary to pass it.
