Mr. Speaker. in the first session of the Seventysecond Congress 121 bills and resolutions were introduced in the House of Representatives pertaining to immigration. Out of the 80 bills given consideration by the House Committee on Immigration and Naturalization. 17 were reported to the House and 11 were passed. There are still four bills awaiting House consideration in the December session. namely: (1) The socalled 90 per cent restriction bill. (2) application of the contractlabor provisions of existing law to singers and choristers. (3) permitting the review of the action of consular officers in refusing immigration visas. and (4) legalizing the illegal entry of aliens into the United States prior to July 1. 1924.
