Heretofore the nation that has been host to these Olympic games has extended to the participants from foreign nations exactly what it is proposed to extend to these people at the present time coming into the United States. No man will be allowed to come here unless he is certified by the Olympic commission. or his government. that he is a participant and connected with the games. It is expected that representatives from about 23 or 25 countries will be here and. all told. there will be in the vicinity of 500 participants at the games. but there will be a complete record of everything connected with them. and all of the regulations of the Immigration Department will be put into effect. except that they will not have to pay for getting their passports visaed. and they will not have to pay any customs duties on the various utensils and equipment used inconnection with the games.
