I should like to have the attention of the Senator from Maine and the Senator from Pennsylvania. Mr. President. Order of Business No. 1703. being the bill to expedite the deportation of certain aliens. and for other purposes. was brought up before the Committee on Immigration a few days ago. As a member of the committee I received notice of the meeting of the committee. as did the Senator from New York . I went to the committee room and inquired what bills were coming up for consideration. and one was mentioned. but not the one to which I have referred.
