I am sure that Congress will be interested in having the benefit of his views upon this subject. which is of such importance to American labor. We have the several recommendations made in the last annual report of the then Secretary of Labor. Mr. DAVIS. who now is a Member of the Senate and who has stated to me that he favors the passage of this resolution. It is. however. entirely proper to ask the new Secretary for an expression of his opinion as to what new legislation is needed to facilitate the deportation of undesirable aliens. I ask for the passage of the resolution.
