Well. I know what the intention is. I state my fears. The smallboat fellow will not be required to make a report to the customs. but they report to the new border patrol. The letter from Secretary Mellon. to which the gentleman has referred. mentions new docks and the new points of entry that are to be established on the water. The other report you have says there will be none in the Great Lakes district. Now. speaking accurately. possibly the new bill does not repeal the navigation and customs laws. They will not have to report to the customs. but they will report to a new body of police.
