What I want to get at is. why we should have a quota at all. The Senator has made the. argument better than I could have made it as to why there should not be a quota. Our families are intermarried back and forth across the line. we are one people. speaking the same language. having the same customs. We do not know whether we are Canadians or Americans al6ng that border unless we know each other. and why should we set up a quota system to annoy the Americans and Canadians who want to travel back and forth across the line?
