My object in explaining this humane measure is for the purpose of having it brought to the attention of the House. so that every Member may have an opportunity to know that this is not going to open the door of immigration. I am willing to recognize the principle of the restrictive act of 1924. I am not one of the men who is attempting to open the doors. and I am ready. on the other hand. to deport every undesirable alien..
