The junior Senator from Virginia is not recorded as having voted at that time. From the figures of visas issued by our consular officials during the fiscal year ended June 30. 1929. it appears that 4.556 persons applied for visas in their desire to come to the United States from the 18 South and Central American republics south of Mexico.
