As a matter of fact. the American producer of mushrooms should cater to the persons who want fresh mushrooms. That is the natural market for the American mushroom. The canned and dried mushrooms are not American products. and they never can become American products. no matter what sort of tariff we place upon them. Here. however. Is a product which is very commonly used by all European immigrants to America. I do not care whether they live in my State or my city or whether they live somewhere else. They are the ones who want the dried mushrooms and the canned mushrooms.
