It has been shown that the only object such a bill can have is to act as a nieasure of spying upon the unoffensive alien who may be living among us. At least one of the objects of the bill will be to send a host of inspectors abroad throughout the land to question the legality of the original entry or right of a residence of 7.000.000 aliens here as soon as they have registered.
