Democrats who agree with the party fundamentals and disagree with certain provisions of the Constitution of the United States dealing with intoxicating liquor. and who also disagree with the countrys settled policy to restrict immigration. should cease their efforts to pervert its mission to one or two unwholesome bloc purposes. one subversive of the Constitution. and the other believed by a majority of both parties. to be perilous to American character and institutions. Political parties maintained for the sake of officeholders and to dispense advantages to those who profit by favoritism in lawmaking and administration are despised by a good citizenship and dangerous to government.
