Washington. D. C.: The American Legion strongly urges the retention of the nationalorigins provision of the immigration law. The American Legion from the very first has supported the present Immigration law. and at the tenth annual national convention In San Antonio last October the organization positively reaffirmed its stand by the adoption of the following resolution : "Be it resolved by the American Legion in convention assembled. That we favor and recommend the continuance of the method of restriction upon immigration in the 1924 Immigration law. with its fundamental nationalorigins provision."
