Mr. President. I agree very heartily with practically everything the Senator from Pennsylvania has said about the need for continued restriction of immigration. I recently had an experience with some of these recently arrived foreigners when they were trying to suppress free speech in Massachusetts. Some Senators here seem now to be greatly concerned about them. they seem to be afraid they will wound their feelings if they declare here in favor of the Constitution of the United States and profess friendship for the institutions of free speech and peaceful assembly.
