To remedy that situation I introduced the measure. H. R. 13793. The provisions of my bill enable these people to legalize their status in the United States. and to .obtain certificates of entry so as to comply with the naturalization requirements. The measure which we are now considering. howeverH. R. 349passed the House last winter. and in the Senate Committee on Immigration and Naturalization. was amended so as to include the substance of my bill H. R. 13793. H.
