I believe I was discussing a case I have in mind of Inspectors A and B. May I not Inquire in what kind of a position would Inspector A. the honest. faithful officer. find himself. under circumstances I related before being interrupted. Of course. the aliens would be deported. because they have plead guilty. but what about honest Inspector A who caught the aliens? Where do you suppose he would land as a result of his experience in the United States court? Or let us suppose that the aliens who have been caught. after they have paid the price. do not identify the inspector who made the arrest as the one who received the graft. but instead identify some prominent citizen. who may be in the court. or suppose some citizen who has interested himself in trying to break up an alien bootleg ring?
