If the father is good enough to stay with us. I believe his wife and children are also good enough to stay with us. You should have exempted all these desirable classes from the operation of the quota law. but as you do not see fit to do so. and as this bill is the only one which has a chance to pass before recess of Congress. I will have to reluctantly vote for it and trust to time and tide to change your views and to liberalize some of the provisions of immigration legislation which you saw fit to put in our statute books. Mr. Speaker.
