I ask unianimous consent to insert in connection with these remarks first a series of resolutions passed by the Columbus Society. of Niagara Falls. This is a group of 500 or 600 persans of foreign birth who have banded themselves together for the pUrpose of encouraging and pronoting the naturalization of foreignborn citizens and to inspire respect for all the laws of the United States. They are very much disturbod because two Coast Guard oficials of the United States. intrusted with the duty of enforcing law and order. have themselves set a bad example for those who are not yet citizens. Not alone have they violated the laws of the State of New York but all natural lavs find the law of God. by shooting down in cold blood an esteemed and highly respected citizen of Niagara Falls.
