If we are going to enforce this act. why not do it? This was all fought out in 1924. The experts have made their reports and this is merely an effort on the part of certain people who are not restrictionists to have this suspended. I see before me many of the same faces and the same men who met us on the floor of this House in 1924. when we had this immigration act under consideration. The same arguments were made then in reference to the kin of those in this country and from a sympathetic standpoint. They then made the same arguments they are undertaking to make now.
