That the President be. and he Is hereby. requested to inform the Senate whether the estimates of immigration quotas. preDared by the Secretaries of State. Commerce. and Labor under section 11 of the act approved May 26. 1924. which were transmitted to the Senate by the President. together with two letters of the said Secretaries. on January 3 and 10. 1927. are still unsupported by responsible documentary evidence. as admitted in the second letter in question or in process of revision or improvement. and when in the latter case new figures will reach the Congress. accompanied by adequate and detailed explanation of the method of computation. or otherwise.
