Mr. Chairman. in a way I ans glad that this subject of naturalization in New York has come up for discussion during this debate. I am sorry that I was not able to be on the floor during all the past onehalf hour to hear all that has been said. On the 5th day of this month. last Thursday. I made some remarks here in a running debate oi1 immigration and incidentally called attention to the fact that a class of 10.0(00 was being naturalized in New York City. I stated that In good faith. Yesterday my friend Mr. BoYvfAN called the attention of the House to the fact that I had made it appear that the entire class was to be called up for naturalization on that day. He was anxious that that be corrected. Let us have the facts.
