You Republicans. upon the advice of the Republican leaders of New York. refuse to appropriate moneys to allow county clerks. elected by the people of New York. to aid In the naturalization of the residents of New York. You did this simply because the county clerks were Democrats. You placed the work in the hands of professional Republicans who hold Federal offices and piled more work upon Federal judges.
