They have a membership of over 700 ardent American veterans. all Englishspeaking. all of them trained soldiers. all of them with honorable discharges. About half of them are anxious now to get back to the United States. Their parents have died or they have settled up the business matters which kept them there. and It seemed to the Committee on Immigration. although we believe most sternly in standing by the immigration policy of the United States. that any man who had an honorable discharge from our forces and was good enough to fight for us in our Army or our Navy is good enough to come back to the United States where he was enlisted.
