For the Department of Justice there has been recommended some transfers of positions from two appropriations to the Attorney Generals office. $100.000 added to the Budget estimate for the salaries and expenses of marshals and their deputies. and the Budget estimates reduced $211.000 for the prosecution of war frauds. and the unexpended balance of the current appropriation for this purpose made available for the next fiscal year. For the Department of Commerce the Budget estimates have been reduced by more than $700.000 by the committee not recommending a helium program under the Bureau. of Mines. The committee has added $1.000.000 to the Budget estimates for the Bureau of Immigration for the border patrol and the deportation of aliens. I will now take up the four departments separately:
