Mr. Speaker. again the grim reaper. Death. has entered the ranks of the California delegation and has gathered to his fathers our colleague and friend. Hon. JuLIUS KAHN. who after years of illness and suffering passed away at his home in San Francisco on the 18th of December. 1924. Mr. KAHN was born at Kuppenheim. in Baden. Germany. on February 28. 1861. In 1866 his parents immigrated to the United States with their family and settled in San Francisco. Calif.. where his father became a wellknown and successful business man in a small way. Mr. KAHN was educated in the common schools of San Francieco. and after graduation lie became an actor on the legitimate stage and became quite prolinent in that profession.
