Unfortunately some of the Members are sometimes under the impression that because people who are born here have foreign names. that they are foreigners. That Is not true. These people. though of foreign parentage. and those naturalized have. under the Constitution. the same rights and the same privileges. I believe. as American citizens whose parents might have been born of socalled Nordic parents. Now. as to the picture brides I wish to state that my colleage and the rest of the Members worked hard. and I have cooperated with them. to eliminate that practice. and am mighty glad that It has been eliminated.
