During that period from 191.2 to 1915 there were over 30.000 Japanese picture brides who came to the United States. and I have here a list on one vessel. The Committee on Immigration saw them coming. from 50 to 100 in a vessel. In the year 1923 I saw the same thing with my own eyes In the Hawaiian Islands. I saw them landing over 60 picture brides at one time. and 50 others during tme month of May and June of last year.
