Mr. President. last week I Introduced a biji to prohibit immigration for five years. In previous sessions of Congress I have introduced similar bills. I do not think there Is any legislation more important to the people of our country. Some of our citizens who came from European countries gave trouble and caused embarrassment before. during. and since the World War. We already have too many of that class in our country. They do not understand our form of government or our laws. You will find relatively a larger per cent of law breakers in the jails and penitentiaries from this class. some of them have urged the overthrow of our Government.
