That attitude will not be modified and little effort will be put forward to change it. " In the degree that the problem is economic it Is held by many that our own welfare is involved. That phase of the problem involves tradeexports and importstariff legislation. European debts to the United States. reparations. general European rehabilitation. and immigration. All of these problems are viewed by this country in the light of what is best for the people of the United States. Our trade is still spasmodic. but is steadily growing toward what will be normal for the country.
